10:38 pm - Back in Melbourne
Back in Melbourne, safe and sound! Thanks everyone who came to see me off, or wanted to (it's the thought that counts), much appreciated :)
And a big thank you to those people who made my vacation a fun-filled one. I got to do lots of things like eat at buffets, walk the tree-top trail, play at West Coast, LOOK AT FUCKING DISGUSTING PICTURES AT SILOSO BEACH (GRR...), watch Spring Awakening, and eat lots and lots of yummy food!
To be honest, coming back to Melbourne felt like nothing to me. Well, the flight back here was a little uncomfortable for my liking (too crammed, but they turned on the air-con this time) but once I touched down, I went straight into the routine of collecting my bags, waiting in line for immigration and taking a taxi home. I think I walked into a cobweb in my room, but that's about as exciting as it gets.
I have a fantastic lecturer for 'Foreign Policies of the Great and Emerging Powers', Remy Davidson. He actually named the unit after our assigned textbook...which HE WROTE. Of course (roll eyes). I last had him for Intro to International Relations. He is still as cynical as usual, his speech dripping with dry wit.
Then I had my first tutorial today. Why can't aussies speak properly? WHY WHY WHY? Always fucking mumbling.
I miss Tani and Jacky :( Feels so different without them. In the meantime, Natasha and I will have our own adventures.
